An Orgasm a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Well the good news is there is mounting evidence of the health benefits of orgasm in woman.

♥ The increased levels of the hormones Oxytocin and DHEA released at sexual arousal and orgasm may have a protective effect against heart disease.

♥ A possible protective effect has also been found against breast cancer, again due to the release of these hormones at orgasm.

♥ Orgasms trigger a surge in release of Oxytocin and endorphins that may have a sedative effect. One study of 1,866 American women found that 32% of women who had masturbated in the last 3 months had done so to help them fall asleep.

♥ The same study found that 39% masturbated for stress relief.

♥ And 9% had masturbated to relieve menstrual cramps.

♥ 50% of women who suffer from migraines reported some pain relief from orgasm. Although the pain relief from orgasm is less effective than drug therapy, the pain relieving effect of orgasm was much more rapid.

♥ Vaginal self stimulation to orgasm results in significant increase in pain tolerance.

♥ A study showed that women who had intercourse with or without orgasm, and orgasm without intercourse during pregnancy, were more likely to carry their baby to full term, than women who had no sexual activity late in their pregnancy.

♥ Sexual activity and orgasm during menstruation has a potentially protective effect against endometriosis.

So do your health a favour, have an orgasm :)

Amara Charles PART 7: Visioning for the Future

Visioning for the future. Kylie Ezart Interviews Amara Charles.

Continued from part 6……

K- To finish off I am wondering if you would be willing to do a little creative visualization with me, would you be willing to close your eyes for a moment and take your mind to a place where female sexuality has blossomed, it’s been liberated, it’s come of age, and women have discovered the truth and full potential of their sexual pleasure and orgasm. And it is being supported and celebrated. From that place can you give us a little snap shot of what you can see?

A- That’s a lovely place to go. Well because I know that the feminine expression is so exquisitely different from woman to woman. In world where women are fully realized in their feminine potential, I see that we would naturally just be so inclusive of one another, of the variety of our desires, of our paths. Some women would be in communities co-raising children, helping one another. One big difference would be, that it would be less isolated. Women who were bearing children would be closer to one another, they would have each other to bounce off. There would be plenty of other women who chose not to have children this lifetime, they would be helping and they would be nourished by their connection with the children. There would be some women who would be interested in different things and they would be into their creative projects, kind of like how I live now. There would be other women who are very much devoted to one man and one relationship. They would just naturally love the soul development that comes from being so intimate and close with one man. They could have that beautiful space to explore that their whole life. And then other women who in their natural expression would like to have a variety of lovers their whole life, and this is their nature. Both these kinds of women would see each others natures. They would see that some women need that unique solo partner journey to be able to discover and open fully, whilst other women need a variety of lovers in order to open fully. In this universe the men would also love this variety.

In this world there would be natural consequences for disrespect. There would be very strongly held understanding of what Quodoushka calls the two sacred laws. 1. That all things are born of the feminine energy and sparked by the masculine energy. That all of nature is born from the feminine energy and it needs the masculine spark for life and evolution. So in this world anything that interfered with this evolutionary cycle would not be tolerated, would be changed. Then the second law is that nothing should be done to harm the children. This means the physical children and also the children of the water, the earth and the air, the fire. All the worlds of grandmother, the plant world, the mineral world, the animal world. Nothing must be done to harm the children. Those two laws say it all. That is the world I live in. Some of those things are already happening in small pockets. There are people really exploring and there are people who are really suffering and are nowhere near experiencing this. So we still live on a planet of duality, I think it is an amazing time to be alive.

K- Thankyou for that vision. It has been amazing talking to you. So if people are itching to find out more about their anatomy type or explore the Quodoushka teaching in more depth, then they can check out your new book.

A- Yes, well if people have listened this far, thank you very much! The name of the book is The Sexual Practices of Quodoushka. It is the first book in print to the public on the teachings of Quodoushka. There is so much more in the book than we had time to cover today. You can get it at www.amaracharles.com or Amazon, Barnes and Noble etc.

K- Amara has a busy schedule teaching Quodoushka trainings around the world and you can find details on her website.

Thank you so much for sharing this incredible wisdom Amara, it has been truly inspiring to have this conversation with you.

A- Thank you. Good luck on your project and all that you are doing. Many blessings for you and your friendships and relationships. See you soon.

Amara Charles PART 6: Barriers to orgasm

Barriers to Orgasm. Kylie Ezart Interviews Amara Charles.

Continued from part 5…..

K- What is the biggest barrier that women have to fully embracing and connecting to the full potential of their sexual pleasure and orgasm….I know that’s a big question.

A- It’s a big question with an easy answer, a simple answer maybe not easy. It’s Self Love. The whole focus of Quadoushka really is about when we embrace and appreciate ourselves, when we can accept who we are, we can have more wisdom.  We can really understand what the purpose of our sexuality is. What are we doing? Are we just trying to get with someone? For most women their sense of their sexuality has to do with something outside of themselves, they seek approval, they seek to be pretty and they seek to please. So her sense of sensual and sexual pleasure is out there somewhere, something that she has to get. When a woman begins to really accept herself and feel that resurgence of deep self love, rarely will she need to look outside to fill something that’s empty. She doesn’t need that anymore. It’s beautiful to be with others, and like I said in the beginning, Quodoushka means the sharing of two energies. It could be a woman and a woman or a man and a man, Quodoushka is very tolerant of whatever path you chose to take, that’s what your soul needs. But those two energies coming together it’s not from “I’m lacking and I need you to make me full”. What  we learn in Quodoushka is that as a woman I can become very full and nourished and healthy and happy, and then I can choose my lovers. I can choose the relationship that works for me. I can choose to have children, I can choose to be single. Whatever I might choose in life, rather than coming from a need of “you complete me”, my relationships are full of harmony, of joy, from every friendship to my intimate relationship. So there is a deeper question about “what is our sexuality for” that I ask myself and I believe this is a question that changes. When we are twenty, sex is a whole different thing than when we are thirty. Then you turn fifty and become older and it’s like wow, the purpose changes, it deepens and I know for myself personally, I have just become ever more selective, not in a judgmental way but really whenever I make love I am just one thousand percent there and it’s a celebration. What I mean by selective is not “no, not you, not you, and not this and not that” which I think I did in my twenty’s and thirties, more separating like “no I am not interested in that, not interested in that” Now I guess it’s even more special for me.

Amara Charles Part 5: The G-spot Fire Trigger

The G-spot fire trigger. Kylie Ezart interviews Amara Charles.

Continued from part 4….

K – And I’m curious about the area that we commonly call the G-spot. Do the Quodoushka teaching recognize the G-spot?

A – Oh, absolutely. It’s called the Fire Trigger, and the Tipuli (vulva) is called the feather winged serpent, because it looks like the wings of the feather winged serpent opening from the vagina. The Fire Trigger is more commonly known as the G spot, or G area, as I call it. I find that when we say spot, particularly men are looking for this little spot, you know, like a little spot on a sheet, or something, and it’s not that at all. It’s really the convergence of a whole network of nerves, it’s a whole region that is really, actually hard to miss. When a woman is aroused, somewhere on the roof of her cave (vagina) there is a slightly different texture. And all it means is that in that spot these nerve endings are really, really sensitive. They’re engorged with blood just as the penis is engorged, it’s the same tissue covering the prostate gland, which Quodoushka calls, the Rear Cavern. It engorges with blood and becomes highly erectile and stretches – I mean, you can have a baby through there, right. So it has this elasticity, and this tremendous versatility. For most women the general rule of thumb is that when she’s highly aroused, she can have more pressure in the G-spot area, or Fire Trigger, and her Feather Winged Serpent begins to open. The key there is to just delicately arouse the whole region. Most women will take a long time, and then to gradually begin to arouse and stimulate the Fire Trigger. That’s a general rule of thumb. But again if you get to know the anatomy types you get to know even more specifically what each anatomy type prefers.

Energy Orgasms: OMG I actually get it!

A few weeks ago I went to a ‘Deeper Orgasm’ class led by the wonderful Cyd Saunders. I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Maybe some breathing techniques and movement to help me begin to move sexual energy and open to pleasure (all of which sounded like a great idea to me). What I actually experienced however, sought of blew my mind. I was sitting upright breathing ‘the microcosmic orbit’ and suddenly rushes of orgasmic energy were moving through me making me shake and grin from ear to ear. I couldn’t quite believe what I was experiencing – well my mind couldn’t believe it, my body found it all very……right. They weren’t quite like the orgasms I was used to from genital stimulation. There was no build up, definite peak and then a come down, and the sensation was not only in my genitals. It was more like waves and rushes of orgasmic sensation moving through my whole body in sets.

I had certainly witnessed energy orgasms before. At the recent Sex and Consciousness Conference in Byron Bay Andrew Barnes led a demonstration of energy orgasm. The thing is, I always thought they were the carrot dangling out of my reach. An experience only available to the sexually liberated women, or at least women who were able to surrender to their resistant mind- neither of which described me.  I thought energy orgasms would be something I had to build up to and work hard at with breathing and PC muscle exercises for months. But no, as it turned out, this was my first class and I wasn’t using my PC muscles much at all.

The techniques allowed me to access the orgasmic energy, but I never would have thought this energy would be waiting eagerly at my doorstep ready to play. So I think I get it now. The energy is around me and within me all the time, I just need to plug in…. to open the door. At some point in the class I heard Cyd whisper some of her classic seductive wisdom “Ladies, let the universal Qi have it’s way with you” and with a big YES, I did just that….

Deeper Orgasm classes are on ever thursday night at 7.oo in Byron Bay 3/69 Centennial circuit. http://www.facebook.com/DeeperO

Finding love in unusual places

Over on Facebook this week we have been celebrating vulva diversity and genital self-esteem, and it has got me wondering: what sought of relationship do you all have with you vagina, vulva, clitoris- the whole kit? Do you love her? Hate her? Ignore her? Do you think your relationship with your bits effects how you experience pleasure?

When was the last time you had a good look at her? Have you ever? Could it be that she is living in shame ‘down there’ hidden away even from ourselves.  If she is not getting our full love and respect we are probably not hearing what she really wants and making sure that she gets it, right?. At the very least we most likely wont have access to the full orgasmic pleasure she is capable of sharing. The importance of healthy genital self-esteem is really hitting home.

So the easiest way to know what terms you are on with your vag, is to whip out a mirror, spread your legs and have a good look. How you respond to what you see will let you know how close you and your lovely bits really are. Is it love at first sight? Probably not. Perhaps awe? Shock? Curiosity? Repulsion? Reverence? Intrigue? Intensity? Humour? I would love to hear how you go. Don’t just do it once, make a regular practice of it. You know what they say: ‘to build a good relationship you need quality time’ ;) For those of you who are already savvy with vulva love and want to take it to another level, try self-pleasuring in front of the mirror and see what that brings up for you….How comfortable are you with your passionate, erotic, pleasure seeking nature?

Full Interview with Amara charles on Female Sexuality and Orgasm from teachings of Quodoushka

Kylie Ezart interviews Amara Charles about the Sexuality Teachings of Quodoushka and the female orgasm

Kylie – Today I’m delighted to be speaking with Amara Charles. Amara is an internationally renowned intimacy and sex expert, who has been working for more than 20 years helping men and women reconnect with their passion, restore the potency of their sexual energy and deepen their appreciation of life. As an apprentice to the sweet medicine path of Turtle Island, Amara teaches the spiritual sexuality of Quodoushka. She is the author of three books, and her new book, The Sexual Practices of Quodoushka, is the first book to be published about the amazing teachings on the sexuality and healing from the Nagual tradition. She is also the first White Tigress initiated on western soil the ancient tradition of Taoist sexual arts. Amara is one of the few women authorised by her teachers to teach in both the Taoist White Tigress, and Quodoushka traditions. Today we’ll be talking with Amara about the liberation of sexual pleasure through the teachings of Quodoushka.

Part 1: What is Quodoushka?

Kylie- So Amara, I want to begin by asking you, what is Quodoushka? What does it mean? Where does it come from?

Amara – Well, the word Quodoushka means the coming together of two individual energies in such a way that when they merge, what is produced and generated is more than the sum of the two individual parts. In other words, Quodoushka means magic reunion, a union that produces magic. And that can include the sexual, and it also includes every interaction. Two energies come together, something more is created.

The full name is actually Chuluaqui Quodoushka, and the word Chuluaqui means, the closest word we have that a lot of people are familiar with is Prana. So it’s the life force that courses through everything. So Chuluaqui Quodoushka, means to awaken to the full life force energy the courses through everything – from which we’re born, through which we die.

Where do they come from, is the second part of your question. The teachings were handed to me through an oral tradition. They were always handed down this way, orally, for many thousands of years. And the first gathering, sort of like the rainbow gathering, or something . . . , the first gathering of what are called Wayhas or Sages, was in 1250 AD, in Wahaka. That was the time when the teachings were being gathered, and put together. They had accumulated and  been lived with for many hundreds, perhaps thousands of years before, but this meeting in 1250 AD in Wahaka was the first meeting of what became known as the Twisted Hairs. Hair represented knowledge, when you braid and twist and braid knowledge you bring together the various forms of wisdom, knowledge, teachings and ways of life. Everything from agriculture to astronomy, to physiological things, to architecture, building, all of these teachings were brought together, and it included a very deep study of the sexual practices as well. And so in 1250 AD the Twisted Hairs came together and they began what is now known as the Rattlesnake School of Turtle Island. Turtle Island being the North, South, Central America, and includes where I am today, Australia, and New Zealand, as well.

K – Really?

A – That’s one of the reasons that I love coming back here . . . Because the original source of these teachings was when the lands were together – and all of the people were together. It was foretold in many prophecies that the world would be to the point of gain where bridges would occur across the lands and personally I feel this has a great deal to do with a consciousness shift that, with the consciousness of the internet and how it’s just so easy for us to exchange knowledge and wisdom. So that’s a little bit about where they come from.

Interview continued in part 2 where Amara uncovers the gift of orgasm…..

Part 2: The Importance of Orgasm and the Gift of Orgasm

K –  I’m really interested in how different cultures view orgasm, and especially female orgasm, because female orgasm is not necessarily directly linked to reproduction it is viewed differently from culture to culture. I amt wondering how important the female orgasm is in the Quodoushka teachings and how they viewed orgasm.

A – The teaching that I heard many years ago from my teacher is essentially that our orgasms are for our health, and that just rang a bell for me of truth. why did Great Spirit give us orgasm? Not all creatures orgasm. They have sexual union to procreate, primarily, with the exception of, maybe the Bonobo baboons and the dolphins, they’re the exceptions. But, for the most part human beings have a very special gift, and that is the gift of orgasm. In our tradition we say that Great Spirit gives us the gift of orgasm for two reasons. One is for pleasure. And the second is to gain wisdom and knowledge of who we truly are. It is from the source of our orgasm from which all life is created. It’s the most generative thing, the most power, the most exquisite, the most powerful energy that exists because it generates through birth.

And so, there are many teachings, surrounding orgasms and Quodoushka. The first is the understanding of their importance. And so, when we say it’s for our health, we mean for example, that when we have a healthy experience of our orgasm that’s just a natural part of our life. When we are in tune with our body, we know how much we need to orgasm, we know our body just needs orgasm. It’s one of the essential teachings of Quodoushka, that it’s as important as good food, as good sleep, as good exercise…. and good orgasm. It’s just a beautiful function of the body.

Now, all the tangle and confusion and drama and, you know, romance, relationships – what we say is, that the sweet medicine animals, they teach us something. The world of nature teaches us something. The animals in their natural state, they don’t, pretend to be something else. Wolf doesn’t pretend to be a buffalo, or it doesn’t want more orgasms or more food and they have lean bodies for the most part. Unless they’re too influenced by human beings, you know. And so, the natural state of the body is very important. So one of the focuses of Quodoushka is to really get back in touch with that natural state of the body. Where we can listen to our body’s need for orgasm so that we can have, sexual intimacy and orgasmic pleasure, and a very relaxed, very natural way, so that the body can restore itself to health. So what we say is that, if you repress your orgasms, you know, for years and years and years it’s going to take its toll on the body. You’re going to age more quickly and you’re going to die too young. So, just like eating well, like exercising well, it’s good to learn to have a healthy sexual pattern in your life.

Part 3: The different types of orgasm

K – And are there different types of orgasms?

A – Well I know you just got my new book, the Sexual Practices of Quodoushka, and yes, there is a beautiful chapter in there devoted to the types of orgasms. It’s One of my favorite chapters. This is one of the primary teachings of how our orgasms are for our health. The beauty of the native cultures and the study of our sexuality is to see that, for example, we can have a kind of  orgasm that is called a South orgasm and has to do with the water. It has to do with the emotions. This is the kind of orgasm that you find yourself laughing and crying, you don’t even know why. And the juices are just flowing and it leaves you feeling very happy. So when I said that our orgasms are for our health, our body knows when we need this kind of orgasm, because we need emotional balance. So the body will naturally have a South orgasm, it’s what’s called a tidal wave orgasm. It’s very much like a tidal wave because it pulls you under and then there’s an under toe.

K – Mmm

A – And it’s also called an Owl orgasm because, you see, the owl, it just comes, you know, very, very silently, and it sees its prey, and then all of a sudden . . . whoosh. It just snaps to the ground – and that’s the way this orgasm feels. It just rolls up really silent and slow, and then all of the sudden . . . whoosh! You know, you just drop into this, or blast into this orgasm. There are many different types.  I’ll just give one more to show you the distinction. So let’s go to the West. In west there’s an Earthquake orgasm, and there’s different kinds for men and for women. In the west the Earthquake orgasm is just what it sounds like. So, an earthquake is when your body just rumbles and it shakes . . . and it’s the one we are usually familiar with. It’s when the body shakes so much and reassembles the whole body. This orgasm, the earthquake orgasm, is healthy for the physical body, it restores the muscles and so forth.

K – Releases tension?

A – It releases tension, exactly. Yes. So, for men, the different kinds of orgasm show up in different kinds of sexual response. So for example, for men the emotional self, the heart orgasm, the water orgasm, for men is called the Avalanche. Now the Avalanche orgasm for men is- he has a flaccid cock. He, ejaculates very, very quickly. Okay, so in our culture, this kind of an orgasm is called premature ejaculation. While in Quodoushka, not at all. What it means is, a man is so full of heart. It means he’s so sensitive. He’s actually very tuned in. He’s so excited that he is eager and he orgasms. Now, you know, there’s a lot of long teaching, but the point here is that to get to know what kind of orgasm your body needs. So that West orgasm for the man, is he’s got a full erection, he has a full ejaculation. But the other directions on the wheel are different, he might have a full erection and no ejaculation and so forth. So the man can learn from this teaching different expressions, not just trying to get one and if he doesn’t he’s a failure, and then it causes all this trouble. It’s just so unnecessary. You know, if women learn this about themselves and also about their partners, then we can stay with a man when he goes through different orgasmic responses, rather than judge them and, you know, stop the energy.

The main teaching is your body knows what you need, and continue and keep going around the wheel.

K – Trust it.

A – Yeah.

K – I love that. It just opens up to the understanding that it’s all beautiful and okay.

A – Yes.

Part 4: The genital types

K – Diversity. Beautiful. Okay, and one of the most intriguing components that I’ve come across so far in my little adventure into these teaching is the different genital types. And I’d never heard of that before. What’s that about?

A – Well, it is definitely one of the most healing aspects of Quodoushka…the most fun and the most intriguing. Everyone wants to know what type they are. It’s a beautiful teaching because, once you learn what type of genital anatomy you have, it gives you incredible insight into things like, how do you like to be courted? How do you like to be seduced? Also, it gives you much more clear guidance in how you like to be aroused specifically physically. So, some women’s anatomy, because of the shape of their lips, because of the distance of the clitoris to the opening, because of the depth of their cave, the closeness of the G-spot and the combination, each of these combinations creates a different physiology so that her erogenous zones are located in different places, and therefore it explains completely beautifully, why do some women come in less than a minute…why do so women take, you know, 25 minutes to a half an hour, for example.

And it has to do, in part with the physiological structure of the genital anatomy. And so like with all the Quodoushka teachings, first we say get to know yourself, and then get to know life – and then you can be with another person in a more beautiful way. That’s the whole emphasis, the whole purpose of Quodoushka is enhance our sexual unions with more harmony so that we can live with greater hope, health, happiness, harmony and humor. It’s called the Five Huaqua. So, we have orgasms so that they increase our health, hope, happiness, harmony and humor. And that is really the purpose of Quodoushka.

K – Beautiful. So, if you were to assess my genital type, what sort of information would you need to know? What are you looking for?

A – [laughter] Well, the easiest way is to look.

K – [laughing] Yeah.

A – Yes, because there’s distinct features. For example, the Sheep Woman, she has kind of large plushy lips. She has a long tunnel that covers the clitoris that kind of likes to be stroked. So, some of the other women have very short clitoral hooding, or a very delicate, or barely covering the clitoris. Some women have tiny, tiny lips, uh, and some women have really large protruding lips. And so as I said, so the easiest way is to look. And, you know, that’s in my book and you can look at the drawings and read the information, and you’ll be able to hopefully identify your type.

The second way is, after teaching these things for about 25 years now, I’m starting to see that our genital anatomy influences our genital type. When you think about when we’re born, our genital structure is already forming. It’s the first thing, when we come out of the womb, and it’s like – it’s a girl! Or it’s a boy! So, the genital structure is core and essential to our nature. So it influences everything in our life. And so, a Sheep Woman’s demeanor, her way of moving through life, I’m beginning to be able to recognize the qualities, the feeling, the demeanor, you know, the qualities – the difference between a Sheep Woman and a Wolf Woman who is very intense, you know, she’s usually very, very clever, and usually too clever for her own good. I say that because I’m a Wolf Woman, um [laughter]. She’s just got, like a lone wolf. She’s just got this, like, intense quality about her. And as a lover these qualities come out in her orgasmic patterns.

Okay so, just to give you one idea of a distinction, now, they’re across the wheel from another. Sheep Woman is very soft and sweet, and she even tastes sweet in her fluids and so forth. Whereas, the Wolf Woman she tends to, you know, howl at the moon. She’s very loud, and her whole body just gets, really intense and so forth. And very often she’s really turned on by fantasy and mental stimulation and conversation and so forth. And then there’s all the other directions around the wheel, so each woman has her own type, and the same is true for the men. I mean the men are totally different from one another.

So, I can tell, for example, the difference between a Horse man and, you know, a Bear man and a coyote, and they all have these different qualities and features, and it’s just incredibly beautiful and after living it and experiencing it and seeing it for 25 years, I mean, it’s just like, it’s very true. And I know it works because, um, yeah, because…

K – You’ve seen it.

A – I’ve seen it and I’ve experienced it.

K – I just love that concept of, just really thinking about it now, when you’re talking about; we’re born with our genital type, and then, you know, almost like the personality sort of grows from that. And it’s just such a novel and unique concept. Often we’re not even looking down there, we don’t even know what our type is, just really thinking about seeing out genital type as a way to get to know yourself and embrace yourself.

A – Yeah as a core fundamental aspect of our being. It changes your view of life because when sex is just a natural part of who you are…when your genitals, all of the types are all beautiful, I spent a long time writing about them in the book, and every single one is so, so beautiful, and you know, I have seen thousands. Everybody asks me, would I, you know, would I read them, and so forth. And, I mean, I have never seen two alike, and they’re all very, very beautiful. And I’ve really been very lucky and very blessed to experience the whole range and the full diversity. And, you know, you’re absolutely correct, it’s a very different life I meet a lot of people who, it would be the last thing in their world they would do is, you know, to consider that being looked upon as just so, so important. I mean, you sort of figure out how to have sex with it, but to regard it in its beauty and to take the time, I mean, you know – how carefully do we look at our face? Every day. You know, are you really aware, how carefully do you look and see and just accept and embrace who you are, or do you have all this judgment and all this wasted energy, disliking some part of our body that Great Spirit gave us. There’s better things to do than dislike what great spirit gave us.

K – Yes. At the International Sex and Consciousness Conference, where I heard you speak, when you were describing the Deer Woman, I couldn’t help but think that it really sounded like you were describing a genital type that culturally we were aspiring to. I was just wondering if you thought about that at all?

A – Oh yes, of course. You know, the Deer Woman is the image of the tiny, tiny petite lips, and she comes very quickly and she loves to have intercourse because she has a very deep cave, and so forth. And it is typically – a few things are changing a little bit now, but typically it is the type of genital image that gets recorded in porn films, or movies. If you look at that kind of media, and somehow it gets into the psyche. Somehow the stereotype of what the, quote, ‘ideal vagina’ is supposed to look like gets encoded – I can’t tell you the number of women that I have met who have said that they’re considering doing surgery or they’re considering changing the shape. Because somehow, somewhere, they have gotten the idea that they’re not good enough, or that they’re ugly. In my journeys – maybe I’m just an unusual woman, but I have met very few men that were as judgmental as women are. Maybe they are there, but from my experience, by far most men are just – well first of all, I mean, they’re so pleased to be able to just even have a look, mind you, a taste, or a touch or something, that they are not as judgmental as typically women are.

But men also have a great shame issues around their genitals too, and I think culturally now there’s a lot of saying that size doesn’t matter, and all of this. And that’s a great concept, but my experience is that men still are competitive – they compare, they have a lot of insecurities that they’re not large enough, or they’re not sufficient. What I say to men is; there’s just as many beautiful teachings in Quodoushka to help you see the beauty of your nature. Every single type has its qualities that are really powerful about his nature as a lover. For example, men with a much shorter, penis – what we call Tipili –he often has qualities that he’s a lot more emotionally sensitive, much more dexterous with his penis. He has a lot more sensitivity. And my experience is that many, many women love the qualities of a flaccid cock – or love the qualities of a man that is more adroit, or he’s more able to feel.

K – Versatile…

A – Versatile, yeah, you said it. You know, he’s just not like, going for the goal, and so forth. And he can, you know, has a lot of feeling in his member. So for each of the type I think Great Spirit is incredibly compassionate, and gave each type of both men and women amazingly empowering and beautiful qualities as lovers.

K – Excellent. And have you found in your 25 years of teaching this and talking to people that there seems to be different types that are more common than others, or is it a nice little spread?

A – Well it’s really funny, that’s changing. In the beginning years we would get a lot of Wolf woman for the women’s types. And I think that’s because the Wolf women tend to be very intellectually curious. And so they’re outgoing, and so forth. And so, for example some of the dancing women who – it’s one of the other types who can take like 25 minutes to reach orgasm- some of them have become more frustrated and they may withdraw from the sexual unless they learn – any woman can learn, how to shift this. So, I have met women who have learned their anatomy types who learn that they are Dancing women and that’s part of their natural thing that because of their anatomical structure they take longer to come. However, I know Dancing women who now, because they’ve really accepted themselves and embraced their natures that now they can come in less than 5 minutes too.

K – Wow.

A – That’s the cool part about the teaching, is that just learning your type is just the beginning. It’s just the doorway in. It’s like, why don’t I just accept who I am naturally…then I can learn to expand.

So, anyway, we didn’t have very many Dancing women, uh, but now there are a lot more Dancing women. We have a lot of Dancing men who come to the Q’s (Quodoushka trainings). And I actually, lately, in the last 5 to 8 years I’ve seen a lot more variety…a lot more. Maybe I’m just getting better at reading. I don’t know. But there’s a lot of, I think different age people coming to the Quodoushka workshops. Different, nationalities, different types of people, and so I think maybe that’s why there’s a lot more variety.

K – Okay, so there’s also 9 male Genital types, is it important to find your match or type?

A – Absolutely not. No, everybody asks that question. You know, is there an ideal match? Absolutely, not. I mean, we have our preferences for lovers. But my experience is that genital anatomy doesn’t limit us, the differences are not that great. For example, the depth of a woman’s cave is maybe a variance from the shortest of about like 4 ½ inches to, maybe, 6. So what I’m saying is that all of us as lovers can really learn to accommodate one another. Especially when you know your anatomy type you can really learn what your lover likes. So, it’s not about trying to find the perfect genital soul mate. [laughter] You don’t need more of this. It’s about learning to become better lovers and learning to love and appreciate whatever kind of lover. I mean, I’ve had a lot of different kind of lovers, and for me the joy is not in finding my favourite type, for me the whole joy is like, oh, wow – you know, who is this person? How can I love them in the way they need to be loved?

Part 5: The G-spot fire trigger

Part 6: Barriers to Orgasm

Part 7: Visioning
